Chhatra Federation to beseige Home Ministry 1 March
Bangladesh Chhatra Federation on Saturday announced that it will hold demonstrations across the country and besiege the Home Ministry on 1 March protesting the custodial death of writer Mushtaq Ahmed.
It will also besiege the Prime Minister's Office on 3 March over his death.
Bangladesh Chhatra Federation General Secretary Zahid Sujon announced the programmes in the Dhaka University area.

Earlier, the organisation held a rally from TSC to Shahbag demanding a swift probe into the writer's death and abolishing Digital Security Act under which Mushtaq was held.
The student body also demanded the release of the students held after the attack on students during their protest Friday night. Zahid demanded their release by Saturday evening.
"If they are not released soon the government will have to take responsibility if the situation escalates," he added.
Bangladesh Chhatra Federation President Golam Mostafa, Organising Secretary Mashiur Rahman Khan and Convener of Dhaka Metropolitan branch Saikat Arif were present during the announcement.
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested cartoonist Ahmed Kabir Kishore and writer Mushtaq Ahmed from Kakrail and Lalmatia on 5 May under the Digital Security Act for posting anti-government posts on Facebook.
The case statement read that the accused published various posts conveying misinformation and rumours on the Facebook page called 'I am Bangladeshi' to tarnish the image or reputation of the state or to spread confusion. Which creates confusion among the people and degrades the law and order situation in the country.
Although two people were released on bail in that case, the bail applications of Mushtaq and Kishore were rejected six times.
According to the prison authorities, Mushtaq fell sick inside the highly secured prison on Thursday 7:10pm. First, he was taken to the jail hospital. Later he was sent to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead at 8:20pm.
