Khaled Mahmud was known for his medium-pace bowling and lower-middle-order batting during his playing days.

But this time, in the Legends Champions Trophy Mahmud was seen bowling seam as well as some off-spin against left-handed batsmen.

He took the first with spin and the second one with pace against the J'adoube Stars.

Interestingly, Mahmud had previously bowled spin in domestic cricket and even picked up his first five-wicket haul while bowling spin against Rajshahi in 2004 at the Rangpur cricket ground.

Mahmud's bowling helped his team win by a massive 55 runs and after the match, Mahmud was happy that all the former cricketers were able to have a get-together and play cricket again.

"This tournament allows all of us to see all our mates from our playing days and recall all the past memories. All these stories we share from yesteryear makes me really nostalgic," Mahmud said.

Mahmud was also happy at how competitive everyone has been during this tournament so far: "We are obviously competing and trying to give our best in the field and even though we are not as young as we once were and our fitness isn't where it used to be, the competitive spirit is still there."
