Five bad movies that you may enjoy

Some movies are cliché, cheesy and downright bad. In spite of their no brainer content, we seem to enjoy these 'bad' films. The very reason of their ridiculous plot is what makes them favourite guilty pleasure films.

Here are five bad movies, that are pretty enjoyable to watch.

Batman and Robin (1997)

Superhero movies are rarely taken seriously in Hollywood, but Joel Schumacher's 'Batman and Robin' went too far to begin with. Cheesy dialogues, over-the-top costumes and unrealistic plot made this film a subject of mockery among the fans. The movie damaged Batman's reputation so bad, the franchise did not return to theatres until Christopher Nolan's 'Batman Begins' (2005).

"Who killed the dinosaurs? The ice age!" supervillain Mr. Freeze throws out puns like this in the movie.

The Room (2003)

Written, directed, produced, and acted by Tommy Wiseau, 'The Room' is a surprisingly bad movie that has garnered a respectable cult following. The movie is considered one of the worst movies ever made, thanks to its sheer flaws both in front and behind the camera. Despite how it fared at the box office, the movie is still played at midnight screenings.

Mortal Kombat (2000)

Movies based on video games rarely make it big, but 'Mortal Kombat' was an exception. The film was a hit and spawned another sequel. However, cranky CG and wooden acting made this bad movie a fan favourite. The PG-13 film stays pretty true to the R-rated storyline of the video game.

Face/Off (1997)

When you have John Travolta and Nicolas Cage in one movie, you cannot hate it regardless of how bad it is. Directed by John Woo, 'Face/Off' is a definitive bad movie that is actually fun to watch. The bizarre plot of the film warrants Cage and Travolta to go through facial surgery and interchange their face. Imagine how ridiculous a movie can get!

Jason-X (2001)

Ever liked the 'Friday the 13th' series? If yes, then 'Jason-X' will be a total bonkers for sci-fi aficionados. In this film, Jason Voorhees returns as the slasher legend, but in the year 2455. The movie mostly takes place inside a spaceship. Burdened with 80s horror tropes, 'Jason X' is an outrageous movie to love and hate at the same time.
