"Young Rock" showcases multiple timelines with multiple actors playing Johnson, including himself. It spans from the early 1980s to the year 2032, in which Johnson is running for president of the United States.
During a 2017 appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', Dwayne said that he was "seriously considering" a run for president.
Fans were also extremely excited to see some of their favourite professional wrestlers from the 1980s appear as characters in the show.
The pilot episode alone featured legendary wrestling stars Junkyard Dog, the Wild Samoans, Andre the Giant and Iron Sheik. In fact, the Iron Sheik even took to Twitter himself to celebrate the premiere.
