Newly elected BCCCI executive committee takes charge

The newly elected executive committee for the tenure 2021-23 of Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCCI) has officially taken charge of running the organization.

Md Mursheduzzaman, chief of the BCCCI election board, officially declared the election results and facilitated handover to the newly elected board members on Sunday during a ceremony held at the BCCCI office premises, said a press release issued by BCCCI.

Deputy Managing Director of Gazi Group Gazi Golam Murtoza, Chairman of Agro Business Ltd Md Shahjahan Mridha Benu and Managing Director of Mridha Business Ltd Al Mamun Mridha have been re-elected as President, Secretary General and Joint Secretary General of BCCCI respectively for the tenure 2021-23.

Besides, Managing of Director Lumbini Limited Brig Gen Shah Md. Sultan Uddin Iqbal, Managing Director of APEX Weaving and Finishing Mills Ltd Md Harun-Ar-Rashid and Managing Director of Aridod Tech Serve Ltd ATM Azizul Akil David were re-elected as Senior Vice President of BCCCI in the election.

Director of Gazi Group Badrul Alam Khan, Proprietor of M/S Tohfa Enterprise Mohammad Ishaqul Hossain Sweet, Chairman of Platinum Tissue And Paper Industry Ltd Md Nizam uddin Chowdhury and Vice Chairman of Shah Fatehullah Textile Mills Limited Md Shahid Alam, were also re-elected as Vice President of BCCCI for the 2021-23 tenure.

The other Executive Committee members who also have been elected in the BCCCI election are Meherun Nessa Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS Ltd, Engr Md Shafiqur Rahman, Managing Director of Hams Garments Ltd, Md Faizul Alam, Managing Director of Savor International Limited, Syed Aminul Kabir, CEO of May International Trade Services Ltd., SK. Amin Uddin, CEO of Akij Motors, Md Naim Hossain Bhuiyan, Owner of Trim Trading Corporation, Li Xiao , Country Manager of Union Resources and Engineering Co Ltd, Wasim Zakariah, Director of Posh Garments Limited, Hafiz U Biplob, Managing Director United HVAC Ltd, Md. Monirul Islam, Managing Director Maak Furniture Limited and Nasima Jahan Bijly, Proprietor of Nazabi.

During the handover ceremony, the newly elected board expressed their keen commitment to uphold the Bangladesh-China trade and invest relations sincerely.

The board also thanked all the general members of BCCCI for being the most integral Part and main strength of BCCCI, the release said.
