Valentine's Day: Bongo to air 3 new romantic dramas

'Bikal Belar Chad', centres a wonderful family story which narrates the love story of a middle-class girl with the son of an aristocratic family.

Bongo, Bangladesh's first homegrown and largest video streaming platform, will air three romantic dramas on private RTV.

The dramas are scheduled to be aired at 10:30pm on February 13, 14 and 15.

"Nothing is more exciting than spending the [Valentine's] day with your loved ones, however, it can be a little more exciting when you have something to binge watch with your loved ones," Bongo said in a press release announcing the three dramas.

The first of the three dramas, '90 Days', will be aired on February 13. Starring popular actors Tahsan Khan and Tasnia Farin, the drama is centred around a married couple who decides to get divorced, and the story revolves around their impending separation.

'90 Days' is written by Rajiv Hasan and directed by Rubel Hasan.

The second one to air marking the Valentine's Day and Pahela Falgun on February 14 is 'Dekha-Dekhi'. It will tell the story of protagonist Fahmi. He expects everything in his life to be perfect, and he has never been in love with anyone because of this search for perfection. But then, he meets an angry and moody girl, Turni.

Hasan Rezaul has directed the drama written by Muntaha Circle. The drama, starring Irfan Sajjad and Tanjin Tisha, will be available on Bongo app, website, and Youtube Channel on February 14.

The last of the three, 'Bikal Belar Chad', centres a wonderful family story which narrates the love story of a middle-class girl with the son of an aristocratic family. The Jovan and Safa Kabir starrer is directed by Panir Ahmed.

This drama will be available on the Bongo Youtube Channel on February 15.

"We've a special initiative on the upcoming Valentine's Day. Keeping in mind the needs of the audience, this time the dramas have been given priority to romance as well as comedy. Besides, we've also given importance to the ability and potential of popular young directors," said Mushfiqur Rahman, Chief Content Officer of Bongo.
