People willing to get inoculated in the first phase of vaccination drive will have to complete online registration through the designated website and app by 5 February.

The nationwide mass-vaccination drive is scheduled to kick off across the country on 7 February. In the first phase of the inoculation drive, the frontline Covid fighters, including health workers, journalists, and members of law enforcement agencies will get priority.

The country has now a collection of 70 lakh vaccines, of which the government procured 50 lakh doses from the India's Serum Institute and the rest were gifted by the Indian government.
