Wedding expo begins at Chattogram Radisson Blu

The Grand Wedding Expo 2019 will kick off at Hotel Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View on Friday.

The two-day event, which is being held for the fourth consecutive year, will continue till Saturday. Chattogram Mayor AZM Nasir Uddin is set to inaugurate the expo, according to a press release.

The entry fee has been set at Tk50 for visitors.

Around 55 companies, including famous event management companies, providers of community halls, catering services, honeymoon packages and home furniture for newly-wed couples is participating in the expo.

At an earlier press conference, Robin Edwards, general manager of Radisson Blu Chattogram, said, "The purpose of this programme is to make the wedding season more colorful.

"Organizing a wedding ceremony involves many things. We launched the expo to ensure a hassle-free experience for people. The event will bring wedding service providers from both home and abroad under one umbrella."
