DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) dtopped by 4.92 points or 0.10 percent to 4,876

Equity indices of the stock exchanges plunged amid surging turnover in the first one-and-half-hour trading session on Monday.

However, turnover of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) trading floor rose 17 percent to Tk236.17crore during the period till 11:30am.

In this session, DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) dtopped by 4.92 points or 0.10 percent to 4,876.

The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) lost 52 points to 13,985.

Moreover, the Shariah-based DSES index lost 3.66 points to 1,117 and blue-chip index DS30 fell 5.40 points to 1,693.

Following the investors movement, 88 companies share price rose, while 135 issues fell and 105 remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.
