Indian Ambassador Vikram Kumar Doraiswami held a virtual meeting with Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Md Atiqul Islam at 3pm on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Mayor Atiqul Islam welcomed the Indian Ambassador and spoke about the friendly ties between the two neighboring countries.  

He said that Bangladesh and India can exchange knowledge and experience in urban planning and civic service delivery, adding that it will make the cities of both nations more prosperous.

Vikram Kumar Doraiswami expressed interest in Dhaka's Daily Integrated Traffic Management System, Intelligent Security System, Intelligent Lighting System, and the development of the park in Uttara sector 4.

Among others, Chief Executive Officer of DNCC, Md Selim Reza, and Chief Engineer, Brigadier General Md Amirul Islam were present during the meeting.
