Elon Musk is considering a historic merger between Tesla and SpaceX, potentially combining two companies valued at approximately $3.5 trillion. The proposed deal could unite Tesla's electric vehicles, AI technology, and Optimus robots with SpaceX's rockets, Starlink satellites, and telecommunications operations. However, the merger is not guaranteed. Shareholder approval, complex valuation questions, and potential regulatory scrutiny remain major obstacles. With SpaceX and Tesla shares already reacting to the news, could this deal reshape Elon Musk's business empire and accelerate his ambitions in artificial intelligence and space exploration?
