US, Iran separately talk with mediators in latest bid to end war

The United States and Iran have once again entered into talks through intermediaries to halt the seven-month-long conflict. Tehran has proposed a ceasefire in exchange for reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Iran is now awaiting a response from the United States.
