Bangladesh vs Pakistan: Head-to-head

Bangladesh will face Pakistan in their final World Cup group stage match at Lord’s on Friday.

Bangladesh’s loss to India in the last match means that they can no longer qualify for the semi-finals but Pakistan still have a very slim chance of making it.

They have to win the match by 316-runs or more to ensure qualification to the semis.

The Tigers have recently enjoyed a good bit of success against their arch-rivals.

Their last game was in the Asia Cup in 2018, where Bangladesh won, and the last bi-lateral ODI series between the two sides was in 2015, which Bangladesh won 3-0.

But the most famous victory against Pakistan came 20 years ago in England during the 1999 World Cup as that win played a big role in Bangladesh eventually getting Test status a year later.
