Robi to provide internet service to JnU

Robi, the digital service provider, will provide a special data bundle to teachers and students of Jagannath University (JnU) at an affordable price to continue their online educational activities.

The University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Robi on Wednesday, said a press release.

According to the agreement, Robi will provide a 30 GB data pack with a validity of 30 days at an affordable price to university teachers and students without any extra charge so that the students can continue their online educational activity without any impediment.

Discussions are underway between Robi and Jagannath University on student attendance management system, educational activities management, and other digital solutions in continuation of this.

Professor Dr Kamaluddin Ahmed, treasurer of Jagannath University; and Adil Hossain Nobel, chief enterprise business officer of Robi, signed the agreement on behalf of their organization. 

The Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University, Professor Dr Mijanur Rahman; Registrar, Md Ohiduzzaman; Kazi Md Nasir Uddin, Associate Professor and Director (Finance and Accounts); Abul Kalam Mohammad Nazmul Islam, vice president of Robi Enterprise Business; Mohammad Monerul Islam, general manager; and Dhiman Kanti Raha, manager, was present at the MoU signing event.
