DSE suspends trading in shares of three NBFIs
Bangladesh Bank declared the three NBFIs “non-viable” under the Bank Resolution Act, 2026, prompting the stock exchange to suspend trading in their shares.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has suspended trading in the shares of three non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) following their declaration as "non-viable" by Bangladesh Bank.
The institutions are Fareast Finance and Investment, FAS Finance and Investment, and International Leasing and Financial Services.
The trading suspension took effect today (10 August) and will remain in force until further notice, according to the DSE.
