SSC 2026: Technical board pass rate 58.20%, madrasah 55.49%
Under the nine general education boards, the average pass rate fell to 64.05% this year from 68.04% last year, a decline of 3.99 percentage points.
The passing rate in this year's SSC equivalent examinations under the Technical Education Board and Madrasah Education Board stood at 58.20% and 55.49%, respectively, with 3,951 and 6,716 students securing GPA-5.
The results of the 2026 SSC and equivalent examinations were published at around 10am today (10 August) simultaneously online and at students' respective educational institutions. Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon inaugurated the publication of the results at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Education.
Across all boards, including nine general education boards, the Madrasah Education Board and Technical Education Board, the overall pass rate stood at 62.25%, with 1,16,676 students securing GPA-5.

A total of 106,009 students secured GPA-5 under the nine general education boards this year, compared with 125,018 last year.
