Fire breaks out at shop in Netrokona, 7 units battling

A fire broke out at a shop in Netrokona city yesterday (7 August) late night, with seven units of Fire Service and Civil Defence working to bring the blaze under control.
Netrokona Deputy Commissioner Khandaker Mushfiqur Rahman said the fire broke out around 10:30pm on Friday.
Locals said the fire started at Majumdar Electronics in the Barabazar area and quickly spread to nearby shops and houses.

The row where Majumdar Electronics is located has shops at the front and residential buildings at the back.
Firefighters, along with local residents and police personnel, were seen working to bring the blaze under control, reports Bdnews24.com
The extent of the damage and whether anyone was injured could not be immediately confirmed.
