Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Ahmed Siddiqui on Monday met with Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) President Sheikh Fazle Fahim.

The meeting took place during a courtesy visit by Imran Ahmed Siddiqui at the newly renovated Icon Tower at Matijheel in the capital.

During the visit, the FBCCI president appraised the Pakistan envoy on FBCCI Impact 4.0, entailing FBCCI ADR Centre, Tech Centre, FBCCI Institute, FBCCI University, Economic Applied Research Centre, skill lab, multipurpose auditorium, and the federation's roadmap to LDC and SDG 2030, read a press release issued by the FBCCI.

They discussed FBCCI's noteworthy economic and social measures during the Covid-19 pandemic. They also discussed Bilateral Value Chain Initiatives (BVCI) between the two countries.

FBCCI vice-presidents Md Rejaul Kariem Rejnu, CIP; Mir Nizam Uddin Ahmed; Nizamuddin Rajesh; and directors Sujib Ranjan Dash and MdMunir Hossain along with Muhammad Suleman Khan, commercial secretary; and Gulam Nabi, commercial assistant; for the high commission were also present on the occasion.
