UN starts evacuating 11,000 stranded sailors from Strait of Hormuz

The United Nations International Maritime Organization (IMO) has launched an initiative to evacuate more than 11,000 sailors stranded in the Strait of Hormuz due to the recent war in the Middle East. The organization has launched this operation after a ceasefire and peace process between Iran and the United States progressed.
