Why did Bangladesh Bank dissolve the entire board of Islami Bank?

Bangladesh Bank has cancelled the appointment of all members of the board of directors, including the chairman, of Islami Bank. Bangladesh Bank's assistant spokesperson Shahriar Siddiqui confirmed this information on Sunday. He said that the decision was taken under the authority of the Bank Companies Act, 1991.
