Bangladesh Betar director dies from Covid-19

Director of Bangladesh Betar Amanullah Masud Hasan has died from Covid-19 at a hospital in Dhaka on early Saturday. He was 57.

He passed away at 3:30 am while undergoing treatment at Sarkari Karmachari Hospital, Somoy TV reports quoting the deceased's younger brother Asadullah Mamun.

He was employed at the Population Health and Nutrition Cell of the national broadcaster.

Prior to that, he had worked at Rajshahi, Rangpur and Rangamati offices of Bangladesh Betar.

Amanullah Masud - a father of two - was a noted social worker.
