Southeast Bank opens relocated branch to enhance customer service
Southeast Bank PLC has moved its Motijheel Branch (Islamic Banking) to a larger, upgraded premises in Purana Paltan, Dhaka, aiming to deliver enhanced, modern banking services to its customers.
The relocated branch began operations on Sunday, 7 June 2026, at DR Tower (1st Floor), 65/2/2, Box Culvert Road, Purana Paltan, Motijheel, Dhaka-1000.
MA Kashem, Chairman of Southeast Bank PLC, formally inaugurated the new branch as the chief guest.

Board members Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Engineer Khandker Badrul Hassan, and Md Rafiqul Islam, nominee of Asia Insurance PLC, attended the inauguration.

Md Khalid Mahmood Khan, Managing Director and CEO, attended the ceremony as a special guest.
Additional Managing Directors Abidur Rahman Chowdhury and Md Mahbub Alam were also in attendance.
Mahmudul Hasan, Head of Branch, presided over the ceremony.
Senior bank executives, business leaders, customers, and local dignitaries were present at the event.
The relocated branch offers a full suite of modern, technology-driven, Shari'ah-compliant Islamic banking services.
