Khandaker Mosharraf to chair first session of 13th parliament, sources say
A meeting of the BNP parliamentary party, chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, will be held tomorrow, a day before the first sitting of parliament.
The first session of the 13th parliament may be chaired by BNP Standing Committee member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, party sources told The Business Standard today (10 March).
According to sources, if Mosharraf is unable to chair the session, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir may preside instead.
A meeting of the BNP parliamentary party, chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, will be held tomorrow, a day before the first sitting of parliament.
The meeting is expected to decide who will preside over the first session during the election of the Speaker.
