In minimalistic apartments, it is hard to put solid brick wall to separate every space according to the usage. So you can divide an uninterrupted large space by using innovative partitions and create a dramatic changes of spaces.

With the help of recent technologies and simplified materialistic use, you can introduce partitions wisely – whether be opaque, clear, translucent, colorful, formal, interactive, functional, traditional, fun or eccentric.

Wooden partitions are one of the best options for contemporary and earthy designs, they also work well with Bohemian interiors.

In the small living room, a wooden partition with straight lines and open shelves, helps to separate the area from the dining room. It creates a display space for books and show-pieces. Therefore, it is an easy, elegant and comparatively cheap way for a divider and you will get a stylish library in your living room.

In an open-plan layout, it is not always possible to place all sofas back against walls. Using a partition is a great idea to provide support without reducing the speciousness of the room. It also creates a cosy environment by partially enclosing the living area.

A latticed wooden partition works like traditional "Jali" work with geomatric motifs and Mughal patterns fits well in a room that has too much sunlight. The screen not only helps to filter the light and control the glare but also casts a beautiful illustrious shadow inside the room like a painting. The "jail" also helps in lowering the temperature by passing the air through the holes.

As the price of wood is hiking every day, sometimes it is difficult to use wooden partitions for interior, there is a better solution for all of us. As a material, raw wood offers a completely different essence.

However, natural textured plywood, MDF (medium-density-fiber) boards with laser-cut patterns, can add relevant beauty to the aesthetics of the room.

Architect M Shihabul Wares found this sector interesting and prospectus, he shifted his vision and became director and partner of Widevision Limited where CFC cutting products are priorities.

He said, "Besides other products, making laser cut partitions has become a recent trend for all levels of clients. In 2019, their production has doubled from previous year. Though it is a bit costly to make CFC cut wooden partition, clients are more interested to have laser cut on MDF and ply boards."

Partition can be used for separating entrance and introduce a foyer which maintain privacy from formal living and the rest of the house.

In a large bedroom that has a separate seating area, a partition helps to divide the sleeping area from the rest of the space.

Partition can be synced with rest of the furniture of the home and enhance the similarity.

Lutfunnesa has recently renovated her home and added few new Laser cut partitions made of boards. In her words, "These partition concept is a new vibe to segregate private and regular usable spaces inside the house. Animal figures and curved alphabets on partition in my kid's room made her more curious about learning and reading books."

There are also operable partition systems like single panel, paired panel or continuously hinged which can be mechanically or manually shifted and folded, provide the ultimate in versatility and flexibility.

Automated partitions facilitate quick setup time and provide efficient and convenient separation.

Composite wood like MDF and plywood is an affordable alternative. It is easy to work with and can be used to create a range of styles and designs to add sophistication to a home.
