Baraka Power holds 18th AGM, approves zero dividend
The 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Baraka Power Limited was held on 24 December 2025 at Hotel Royal Mark in Sylhet, in a hybrid format.
The meeting was conducted by Company Secretary, Mohammad Saiful Islam Chowdhury, and formally began with a recitation from the Holy Qur'an. He welcomed members of the Board of Directors and attending shareholders before commencing the main proceedings.
In his address, Chairman, Faisal Ahmed Chowdhury, expressed gratitude to shareholders for their continued support of the company. He expressed optimism about the renewal of Baraka Power Limited, and reaffirmed his commitment to protecting the interests of all shareholders.

Managing Director, Fahim Ahmed Chowdhury, in his speech, thanked the Directors and shareholders for their cooperation. He stated that in the 2024–25 financial year, the company posted a consolidated profit of Tk8.46 crore, while consolidated earnings per share stood at Tk0.36. He also explained the rationale behind the declaration of zero dividend for the year, and responded to shareholders' queries.
At the AGM, shareholders approved the proposal of zero dividend, along with all other agenda items.
