Online appointments for outdoor medical services at BSMMU available now

Service takers can purchase tickets directly or they can make online appointments through the university website www.bsmmu.edu.bd.

People can make online appointments to ensure access to outdoor medical services at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) from now on.

Vice-chancellor of BSMMU Professor Kanak Kanti Barua inaugurated the online appointment system of the outdoor department on Thursday to facilitate outdoor medical services and reduce the risk of coronavirus infection, according a press release.

Service takers can purchase tickets directly or they can make online appointments through the university website www.bsmmu.edu.bd.

One has to make appointment through the university website one day before the scheduled day.

Preference will be given to patients who make online appointments, the press release said. 

Meanwhile, the online appointment system of Kurmitola General Hospital Triage Clinic (External Department) set up with the technical assistance of IT Cell of BSMMU was also inaugurated on Thursday through virtual platform Zoom, said the press release.

Among others, Professor Dr Kanak Kanti Baruya, Honorable Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) of BSMMU Professor Dr Sahana Akhter Rahman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of BSMMU Professor Muhammad Rafiqul Alam, Director of BSMMU Brigadier General Dr Md Zulfiqar Ahmed Amin, Director of Kurmitola General Hospital Brigadier General Jamil Ahmed and others were present.
