Fakir fashion lifts Standard Chartered cup 2025 title
The Standard Chartered Cup 2025 concluded with an action-packed finale, as Fakir Fashion Limited clinched the championship title after a thrilling five-a-side showdown against British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BAT).
The annual corporate football tournament, one of Standard Chartered Bangladesh's flagship sporting events, brought together 12 leading corporate teams for a full day of competition and camaraderie.
This year's participating teams included Abul Khair Group, British American Tobacco Bangladesh, British Council, Coca-Cola Bangladesh Beverages Ltd., Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Fakir Fashion Ltd., IDLC, Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., PRAN Group, Robi Axiata PLC, Square Group, and Summit Group.
Individual honours were also announced at the closing ceremony. Mohammad Abir Hossain was named Player of the Final; Moinul Islam Akash secured both the Top Scorer and Golden Boot awards; Bahauddin received Best Goalkeeper and Golden Gloves; and Hasibul Islam Porosh was declared Man of the Tournament.
As champions, Fakir Fashion will enjoy an exclusive trip to Liverpool's iconic Anfield stadium to watch a live Liverpool FC match, facilitated through Standard Chartered's longstanding global partnership with the club.

Standard Chartered Bangladesh has organised seven previous editions of the SC Cup, providing corporate teams with a platform to strengthen bonds, sharpen their football skills, and celebrate their shared passion for the sport. Past champions include United Group, Grameenphone, Bangla Trac, Robi, and Youth Group.
