World’s largest oil consuming countries 2024

In 2024, total global daily oil consumption rose by 0.7%, reaching 101.42 million barrels from 100.69 million in 2023. Bangladesh's daily oil consumption increased by 13.5% to 0.26 million barrels in 2024, up from 0.23 million the previous year. The country accounts for about 0.3% of daily global oil consumption.
