Paperfly, e-CAB team up to launch ‘Seller One’
Seller One enables the semi-urban or rural producers in selling and delivering products anywhere in Bangladesh
Marketing and selling products online is not a new thing in cities nowadays as urban people buy food, home appliances, electronic accessories and many things from online marketplaces.
But imagine a handicraft unit based in the country's northern district Dinajpur which wants to sell products in southeastern district Chattogram. Does the delivery seem difficult? One-stop logistics solutions provider Paperfly, in collaboration with the e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB) and a2i of ICT Division, makes it easy.
Paperfly and e-CAB jointly launched "Seller One" – a service to empower the semi-urban or rural producers in selling and delivering products anywhere in Bangladesh – on Sunday at a virtual ceremony.

Through "Seller One," anyone in Bangladesh will be able to become an online merchant from now on.
Seller One, the countrywide logistic platform for the e-commerce sites, is designated to increase the overall online seller base of the country in manifold and help the entire e-commerce ecosystem to grow.
Rahath Ahmed, chief marketing officer of Paperfly, said, "Being in the forefront of the e-commerce focused logistics industry, we have always tried to come up with new services and solutions.
"This service will allow and empower the semi-urban or rural producers to sell their products directly to the customers nationwide via online."
e-CAB President Shomi Kaiser said, "The joint venture is launched to eradicate barriers for remote or outer Dhaka based sellers so that more merchants can start their online business.
"Of course, this will not happen overnight but with this campaign, we can proudly say that we are one step closer to achieving our goal."
Rezwanul Huq Jami, head of ecommerce, A2i, ICT division and Mohammad Sahab Uddin, vice-president of e-CAB, Hosna Ferdous Sumi, private sector specialist, IFC Bangladesh and Syed M Omar Tayub, SEVP & head of MSME Banking of Prime Bank were also presented at the event.
Bijon Islam, CEO, LightCastle Partners presented the keynote paper at the event.
About the operations, speakers said that any merchant can come to nearest Paperfly point spanning across 64 districts of Bangladesh and get registered as a merchant with Paperfly or from Paperfly website.
Merchants then can handover their products to Paperfly counter for home delivery to any location in Bangladesh.
