Tesla is forming a new team in its Austin branch and turns out its for video game, software, and user interface.

The company is now recruiting video game developers for the expansion of its Tesla Arcade feature. The arcade feature is an in-car gaming console platform.

Tesla Arcade has already stirred massive interest as it has been received with great praise. Tesla Model S, 3, X, and Y already have it installed. As of now, it features older cult classic games like Asteroids, Centipede, and Missile Command.

However, an official posting on their job site indicates that Tesla would soon be developing new games for their cars.

Founder and CEO, Elon Musk has previously floated the ideas of having higher-end games installed in their cars' systems, games the likes of- Fortnite, Rocket League, Pokemon Go, and even Minecraft.

The job posting from Tesla specifically mentioned they wanted, "Engineers that can write rendering engines like Unreal, not simply those engineers that use them as a black box".

Unreal is the same engine Fortnite and Rocket league run on. Strengthening the claims that the Arcade format might feature the games previously mentioned.
