Admission test for Ka Unit of DU, Unit-2 of JnU on Friday

The undergraduate admission test for admission into the 2019-20 academic sessions of science faculty under Ka Unit of Dhaka University (DU) and Unit-2 of Jagannath University (JnU) will be held on Friday.

The DU and JnU authorities will not allow the students to bring any electronic devices in the exam halls. Seat plans are now available on the universities' websites.

The admission test at the DU will begin at 10am, and end at 11am.

A total of 88,970 students got registered for 1,795 seats, meaning 50 students will contest for each of the available seat, said the DU admission office.

The admission tests of Ga Unit (the Business Studies faculty) and Cha Unit (Charukola) at the DU was held on September 13 and 14, respectively. The exams for Kha and Gha Units will be held on September 21 and 27, respectively.

The written test for admission into the Unit-2 of JnU (consisting of faculty of arts, faculty of social science, faculty of law, Institute of Modern Language, and the Institute of Education and Research) will be held, following two different schedule.

Students with even roll numbers will appear in the test from 10am to 11:30am, while students with odd roll number will take the exam from 3pm to 4:30pm. 

Total number of students appearing for the exam stands at 22,950 against 850 seats, meaning 27 students will be contending for each of the seats.

The written test for Unit-3 (faculty of business studies) was held on September 13, while the exam for admission into Unit-1 (consisting faculty of science and faculty of life and earth sciences) will be held on September 21.

The practical and viva for admission into the departments of music, theatre, fine arts and film, and television will be held on September 29.
