Will Smith and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air cast to reunite for HBO Max special

HBO Max has been keen on reunion specials for some iconic shows of the past. After Friends and West Wing, the streaming platform would now air reunion special of Will Smith's Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

The special is related to the show's 30th anniversary on TV. We can see most of the cast in the reunion special. However, James Avery, or widely regarded as Uncle Phil won't be there as he passed away in 2013.

As reported by Forbes, the special will be shot on September 10.

The special, which will be produced by Westbrook Media, will launch on HBO Max around Thanksgiving. Westbrook is Will Smith's own production house.

The cast will unite for a night of music, dancing, and surprise guests. It won't be a scripted show.

Amidst the pandemic, the other reunion shows have been halted. Much notably the Friends reunion that has been in works for a few months now.
