MR.DIY opens 8th outlet in Bangladesh at Banani

Malaysia's leading home improvement retailer, MR.DIY, has opened its eighth outlet in Bangladesh, marking another milestone in the brand's rapid expansion across the country. The new store, located at 106 Banani Road 11, Dhaka, was inaugurated at a festive ceremony on Wednesday.
The grand opening was attended by popular Bangladeshi actress and model Mehazabien Chowdhury, along with senior officials from MR.DIY Bangladesh. The celebration featured a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and special promotions for customers.
Among the MR.DIY officials present were Syed Noor Anwar, Head of Operations; Mohammad Nasim Ahmed, Finance Manager; Md Masudur Rahman, Import Manager; Mohammad Shahin Molla, HR Manager; Mohammad Nazir Hossain, Business Development Manager; and Rahat Nabi, Marketing Manager. They reaffirmed the company's commitment to expanding operations and enhancing the customer experience across Bangladesh.
Reinforcing its motto of "Quality, affordable prices, and variety", the management pledged to continue providing high-quality products at competitive prices, remaining true to its slogan, "Always Low Prices."
The new Banani outlet offers more than 10,000 products across ten major categories—including household items, hardware, electronics, automotive accessories, furnishing materials, stationery and sports goods, toys and gifts, computer and mobile accessories, jewellery, and cosmetics. Designed as a one-stop shopping destination, the store caters to a wide variety of customer needs.
To celebrate the grand opening from 22 to 25 October, MR.DIY is offering shoppers a free shopping bag with any purchase, and customers spending Tk1,000 or more will receive a complimentary MR.DIY umbrella. Additionally, the brand has launched the MR.DIY Top Fan Campaign, giving customers the chance to win exclusive prizes.
Founded in Malaysia in 2005, MR.DIY now operates more than 5,000 stores worldwide across Asia, Europe and Africa—including Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, India, Turkey, Spain and South Africa.
Since entering Bangladesh in April 2024, with its first two outlets at Uttara Polwel Carnation Shopping Centre and Jamuna Future Park, the brand has expanded to Mirpur, Dhanmondi, Shantinagar, Mohammadpur and Bali Arcade in Chattogram.
