Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Tabith Awal has been appointed as a member of a prestigious committee under Fifa, the global governing body of football. He has been nominated to the Fifa Football Technology, Innovation & Digital Transformation Committee.

Alongside Awal, the committee includes members from countries such as Bahrain, Rwanda, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Scotland. The committee is chaired by Thorvaldur Orlygsson of Iceland, with Jorge Giménez of Venezuela serving as deputy chairman.
Meanwhile, Mahfuza Akhter Kiron, a member of both the AFC and BFF, has been selected as a member of the Fifa Youth Girls' Competition Committee.
