Job Highlights

The Revenue Specialist will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimising revenue processes to ensure accurate billing, timely collection, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Responsibilities & Context

• Oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle including billing, invoicing, reconciliation, and collections
• Ensure timely and accurate generation of invoices for terminal handling, storage, vessel, and related port services
• Monitor customer accounts, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain effective communication with clients regarding billing issues
• Coordinate with operations and commercial teams to validate service records against revenue generation
• Analyse revenue trends and provide regular reports to management on billing accuracy, receivables, and collection status
• Implement controls to minimise revenue leakage and ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and port regulations
• Support audits by preparing necessary revenue documentation and responding to queries
• Assist in system improvements and automation of billing/revenue processes for greater efficiency
• Provide customer support for billing inquiries and resolve disputes in a professional and timely manner

Education

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
• CA-CC

Experience

• At least 5 years
• Experience in Shipping

Additional Requirements

• Age: Up to 45 years
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• Robust knowledge of revenue recognition principles and financial controls
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate across functions
