Runner launches Bolt 165 R

Bangladeshi automobile manufacturer – Runner Automobiles Ltd, launched its latest "Bolt 165 R" in the local market yesterday. This flagship model is the first-ever 165cc motorcycle to have been manufactured in Bangladesh.

The Bolt 165 R is powered by a race-tuned 165cc, single cylinder (vertical), four-stroke, air cooled engine. Its engine can produce a maximum power of 13.2bhp at 7500rpm and torque of 14Nm at 7500rpm.

This racing bike is equipped with inverted suspension forks in the front and a monoshock suspension at the back. The upside-down forks weigh less than the traditional set-up and can provide better handling.

The Bolt 165 R comes with a dual disc braking system; it can further enhance the rider's control over the bike. It has also been fitted with an attractive LED headlight and taillight and a digital speedometer.

The market retail price for "BOLT 165 R" has been fixed at Tk169,000. Anyone can avail a discount of Tk14,000 by purchasing it through full cash payment or credit card.

Other than that, anyone can avail up to 24 months EMI facility at 1 percent rate; the lowest in the industry so far.

At the launching ceremony, the Managing Director of Runner Automobiles Ltd, Reazul Haque Chowdhury stated, "With every export quality Runner motorcycle, respected customers will enjoy six years of warranty, nine free services, up to Tk one lakh insurance coverage, and can avail after sales service across 200+ service points all over the country."

Runner Automobiles believe that the advances features of the Bolt 165 R will inspire the Bangladeshi bike enthusiasts to buy more premium motorcycles.
