Interim government can implement July Charter through ordinances, regulations depending on recommendations: Ali Riaz
He also informed that the final draft of the charter is being sent to political parties today, incorporating the views of all stakeholders.

The Vice-Chairman of the National Consensus Commission, Professor Ali Riaz, has said that the interim government can issue ordinances and directives to implement the July National Charter 2025, depending on the nature of the recommendations.
"All political parties reached consensus on two issues. First, some recommendations that are not related to the Constitution can be implemented by the interim government through ordinances. Second, such other recommendations can be implemented through executive orders or rules to be issued by the government and relevant authorities," he said.
He mentioned the issues while speaking to journalists after a meeting with political parties at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka today (11 September).
He also informed that the final draft of the charter is being sent to political parties today, incorporating the views of all stakeholders.
Political parties have been requested to submit by 5pm on 13 September the names of two authorised persons who will sign the document on their behalf. Another meeting is scheduled for Sunday.
Professor Riaz further noted that the government and relevant authorities have already begun the process of implementation through ordinances and necessary steps.
