Moscow in turmoil over Putin-Zelensky meeting, Trump increasing pressure
Moscow has made it clear that the much-anticipated face-to-face meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin is not happening anytime soon. However, a day before Moscow's announcement, US President Donald Trump insisted on August 18, after meeting with European leaders at the White House, that a trilateral summit was the best way to end the war in Ukraine.
