Also present at the ceremony were former vice-chancellors of CUET, RUET, and USTC; Professor Dr Jahangir Alam of the Department of Civil Engineering, CUET; and Assistant Professor Md. Mahmudul Hasan Tarek of the EEE Department.

The MoU aims to strengthen industry-academic partnerships by facilitating joint research projects, technical training, and internship opportunities for CUET students. It also envisions the development of advanced labs, real-world problem-solving projects, and skill-based learning aligned with market demands.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan lauded the initiative, stating, "This partnership will open new avenues for our students and faculty to work closely with industry leaders, addressing challenges through innovation and applied knowledge."

Dr Jahangir Dewan expressed his optimism about the collaboration, noting that SBIT Limited is keen to leverage CUET's academic strengths to drive impactful technological solutions and support talent development in the engineering sector.

The agreement is expected to contribute significantly to building a knowledge-based economy through greater alignment between academia and industry.
