Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen paid a courtesy call on the leaders of BNP at the party chairperson's office in Gulshan, Dhaka, this morning (8 July) at 11:30am.

Shayrul Kabir Khan, member of the BNP's media cell, confirmed the meeting and said the ambassador had come to meet the delegation that had recently visited China.

Notably, a BNP team led by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir visited China on a five-day tour beginning 27 June.

During the meeting today, Ambassador Yao Wen met with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, and Standing Committee members Mirza Abbas, Abdul Moyeen Khan, Begum Selima Rahman, as well as the Chairperson's Private Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar.
