28 Bangladeshis reach Pakistan border from Iran, set to return home: MoFA
The group is expected to reach Karachi soon, from where they will be flown back to Bangladesh

Following the recent Iran-Israel conflict, the first group of 28 Bangladeshis seeking repatriation from Iran has successfully reached the Pakistan border via land route.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) today (26 June), with support from the government of Pakistan, the group is expected to reach Karachi soon, from where they will be flown back to Bangladesh.
Until the situation in Iran returns to normal, the Bangladesh Embassy in Tehran will continue assisting other Bangladeshi nationals who wish to be repatriated, read the release.
The embassy remains in regular contact with Bangladeshi citizens residing in Iran. Notably, at the onset of the conflict, the embassy activated two hotline numbers to facilitate communication with Bangladeshi nationals, it added.
