Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films to launch Aamir Khan’s son Junaid

Bollywood would soon see the launch of Aamir Khan's son Junaid launch into the film industry.

Rumours are rife that Aamir Khan's son Junaid is set to make his acting debut under Yash Raj production, reported by Bollywood Hungama.

However, their source clarified Aditya Chopra's stance and said that Aditya had Junaid auditioned for the role and that he got the part strictly die to his acting skills and not because of his father's influence.

"Aamir has always been vocal about how his son should create his own path, and hence, he left it to Junaid to audition and bag a film based on his own talent. Junaid has been working as a theater actor for quite some time now and has even been an assistant director on several Bollywood films to understand the craft better," Bollywood Hungama's source cited.

Junaid is a theater actor who had also worked as an assistant director in several Bollywood movies.

There's still mystery surrounding the project as no further details has been revealed.

YRF project 50 already has two features lined up. One of them is Salman and Katrina's 'Tiger 3' and another one is Shah Rukh and Deepika starrer Pathan.

The news comes amid a heated debate about nepotism in Bollywood. Only time would tell if Junaid would be considered a talented actor alike his father, or another blatant product of nepotism.
