ActionAid Bangladesh and TBS sign MoU to advance social justice

ActionAid Bangladesh (AAB) and The Business Standard (TBS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on media advocacy aimed at raising awareness and promoting positive change on key social issues including poverty eradication, gender equality, climate resilience, and social justice.

The signing ceremony took place at ActionAid Bangladesh's Country Office in Gulshan, Dhaka. Farah Kabir, Country Director of ActionAid Bangladesh, and Inam Ahmed, Editor of The Business Standard, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

This yearlong partnership commits both organisations to advance shared goals through ethical journalism and bottom-up storytelling across print, digital, and social media platforms. The collaboration will focus on ongoing knowledge-sharing, public engagement, and media campaigns designed to amplify marginalised voices and drive impactful social change across Bangladesh.
