Chief Justice (CJ) Syed Mahmud Hossain has warned of stern action if any Supreme Court (SC) officials are found involved in any corruption.

"File specific complaints of corruption. I will take action against the concerned officials and employees as soon as I receive the allegations. None will be spared. For this, the bar and the bench must work together," chief justice made the statement while addressing a virtual meeting with working committee of the Supreme Court lawyers' association on Saturday.

The leaders of the Bar association urged the Chief justice, as the guardian of the judiciary, to take appropriate steps to save the people seeking justice from this terrible scourge of corruption.

Attorney General Mahbubey Alam, judges of the appellate division of the apex court, President of the Supreme Court Bar Association AM Amin Uddin, General Secretary of the association Ruhul Kuddus Kajol and other members of the association were also present in the meeting.
