BRAC Bank provides all banking services at Diabari Cattle Haat
BRAC Bank has inaugurated a Digital Payment Booth at Cattle Haat, Diabari, Uttara, Dhaka.The Digital Payment Booth at Cattle Haat is part of the Bangladesh Bank's cashless initiative.
At the BRAC Bank booth, the buyers and traders can withdraw and deposit to bank accounts or Mobile Financial Services (MFS), send and receive money as any bank, make payments through QR code and POS machine, instantly open bank accounts and detect fake notes and avail of Agent Banking services on 24/7 basis.
This booth enables livestock traders to securely deposit sales proceeds into banks, thereby reducing the risk associated with using cash. At the same time, buyers are also becoming accustomed to fast and secure digital payments.

Rafeza Akhter Kanta, Director of the Payment Systems Department at Bangladesh Bank, was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony on June 3, 2025.
Md Perwez Anzam Moonir, Additional Director of the Payment Systems Department, Bangladesh Bank, was the special guest from BRAC Bank, Md. Nazmul Hasan, Head of Agent Banking; Ujjwal Mallick, Branch Manager, Uttara-Sonargaon Janapadh Branch; Dipak Chandra Das, Senior Manager, Merchant Acquiring, were also present.
