Saudi Arabia will celebrate Eid-ul-Adha on 6 June as the crescent moon of Dhul Hijjah was sighted in the kingdom today (27 May), reports Khaleej Times.

The first day of the Dhul Hijjah, the twelfth and final month of the Islamic lunar calendar, will fall on 28 May in Saudi Arabia.

Eid-ul-Adha, one of the two major Muslim festivals, is celebrated on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah.
