4 injured in crude bomb explosion in Jatrabari

Four people were injured in a crude bomb explosion at the park near Jatrabari Police Station in Dhaka yesterday (23 May) around 10:45pm.
Confirming the matter, Kamruzzaman Talukder, officer-in-charge (OC) of Jatrabari Police Station, said a group of people was sitting and chatting at the park beside the overbridge when the bomb went off.
One person sustained serious injuries to his hand and leg, while three others were also injured, he said.

All four have been sent to the hospital for treatment, the OC added.
