Earth’s Ants and RNEC host environmental psychology workshop at DRMC
In a bold and timely initiative to strengthen youth engagement in environmental action, Remians Nature and Earth Club (RNEC) and Earth's Ants are set to host one of the flagship workshops, "Minds & Bins," on 24 May 2025, at Dhaka Residential Model College (DRMC).
Running from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the event is expected to bring together more than 250 enthusiastic students for an immersive experience in eco-conscious learning and leadership.
The workshop will centre on three urgent and interconnected themes: Sound Pollution, Environmental Psychology, and the advancement of a Clean Campus Culture. The Integrated and Partnership Projects to Control Noise Pollution under the DOE, MOEFCC, will solely focus on noise pollution, exploring its impact on health, the environment, and student life.

Through the hands-on experience of Earth's Ants, the youth-led organisation will host a workshop on environmental psychology and clean campus culture. The program will include expert-led sessions, interactive learning modules, and a competitive quiz round designed to educate and empower participants. The quiz winners will be awarded exciting prizes, while all attendees will receive authorised certificates and eco-friendly gifts acknowledging their environmental commitment.
Remains Nature & Earth Club's President T.M. Sams Tabriz Akib said, "Environmental responsibility begins with awareness and evolves through action. With 'Minds & Bins', we want to nurture a generation that will enable their deep thinking and act boldly for the planet.
The workshop highlights the unique potential of youth as drivers of sustainable development. It also underscores the importance of cross-sector partnerships—between student organisations, government authorities, and grassroots movements—in addressing ecological challenges at their roots.
In an interview with The Business Standard, Earth's Ants Founder and CEO Md Mirajul Islam expressed, "We are excited to host a workshop on Environmental Psychology and Clean Campus Culture at Dhaka Residential Model College. We aim to connect students with the impact of their surroundings on their mindset and motivate them toward maintaining a clean, healthy campus. This initiative is just the beginning—we hope to take it to institutions across Bangladesh."
