CliniCall launch apnar dactar the world’s first doctor calling card

CliniCall Limited has taken a bold step toward bridging the healthcare gap in Bangladesh by launching "Apnar Daktar," the country's first doctor calling card, now available at local pharmacies nationwide.

In Bangladesh, it is common for people to visit pharmacies and take medicine without consulting a doctor — a practice that has led to serious long-term health consequences. Recognising this critical gap, CliniCall introduces Apnar Dactar, an affordable and easy-to-use solution that empowers individuals to consult licensed doctors instantly via video calls.

Starting at BDT 65, the Apnar Dactar card provides access to two doctor consultations through a simple phone call. Customers can purchase the card directly from pharmacies and instantly speak to a registered doctor, receive medical advice, and get a digital prescription — all without needing to visit a clinic or hospital.

"We wanted to make healthcare accessible and affordable for everyone, especially in rural and underserved areas where doctor availability is limited. Apnar Dactar is more than just a product — it's a movement toward responsible self-care and safer medical practices," said [Spokesperson's Name], Chief Operating Officer of CliniCall Limited.

This innovative step not only reduces the risks associated with self-medication but also enhances pharmacies' role as access points for healthcare, particularly for individuals in remote areas.
Impact on Public Health:

With over 70% of people relying on pharmacy visits instead of formal medical consultations, Apnar Dactar is poised to revolutionise healthcare access. It provides a safe, immediate, and trustworthy channel to qualified doctors, minimising guesswork and promoting informed treatment decisions.

CliniCall aims to expand its reach to 5,000+ pharmacies in the coming year, making doctor access as easy as buying a recharge card.
