Collaborators of war crimes must apologise: Adviser Mahfuj
Stating that Pakistan carried out mass killings in this country, the information adviser said that although Pakistan has sought forgiveness officially, the collaborators are yet to do so

The question regarding the 1971 Liberation War must be solved. Collaborators of the war crimes must apologise, said Information Adviser Mahfuj Alam early today (11 May).
"Orientation to Pakistan has to be shunned if anyone wants to do politics in Bangladesh," the adviser said in a Facebook post.
Stating that Pakistan carried out mass killings in this country, the information adviser said that although Pakistan has sought forgiveness officially, the collaborators are yet to do so.
"Creation of a narrative supporting the mass killings without due diligence has to be stopped. Sabotaging the forces of the July uprising has to be avoided. The Mujib-oriented leftists cannot be forgiven, as they are the brainchild behind enforced disappearances, the attack at Shapla Chattar and the anti-Modi protests," the adviser said.
"The leftists are the 36th division. During July, they engaged in the most despicable bootlicking, yet remained in comfortable positions. To this day, they are committing treachery with the July uprising culturally and intellectually," the adviser added.
In his Facebook post, the information adviser further said, "The Mujib-oriented leftists are hatching conspiracies against the forces in favour of the July movement. These B-teams of Awami League will be defeated soon. Nothing will be achieved by depending on the shoulders of someone else."
